When I was young, I had a livejournal account; well, actually I still have that account, but today I decided that it really must be left behind. I thought I had decided this when I initially started this journal, however, I must admit that I have some nostalgia for that old teenage haven. But, tonight, I looked at my user info page and found that two of my old friends had abandoned their accounts (I had very few friends on that site to begin with). I also remembered that only two people currently read that journal, and one of those people doesn’t even have a livejournal account. So, it is pretty pointless for me to keep updating it….
Though I really do miss the little animated gif expressing my emotion (if you’ve ever used the site you will know what I’m talking about!)
Also, my livejournal account has always been ‘anonymous,’ meaning I never explicitly gave my name. This journal is not that way. I am Michael J Zenz; the one that has a BA from the University of Wisconsin. It is also attached to my facebook account, so maybe some people who know me will eventually stumble upon it.
